Escape the daily grind and immerse yourself into the creative world of ceramics in this intimate and festive workshop with ceramicist and designer Kim Wallace.
Suitable for all skill levels
Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced artist or creative wanting to try a new art medium, this workshop is designed to get your hands into clay and have fun creating your very own heirloom Christmas ornaments for yourself and loved ones to enjoy for years to come.
In this workshop you will create your own Christmas ornaments from scratch by rolling our Australian porcelain clay and using a range of different techniques to cut and decorate your clay. Make up to 5 of your own pieces and add patterns and personalised touches under the guidance of Kim.
We will have all tools, inspiration and guidance ready for you, or we welcome you to bring along your own designs & sketches, ideas or specials textured mementos to incorporate into your pieces.
PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is for making and shaping the ornaments only. Your ornaments will be allowed to slowly dry, and you can then choose to have them glazed by our professional team of potters with a high-fire, food-safe glaze as chosen during the workshop.

IMPORTANT INFO
All pieces painted in our Workshops will be treated with the same care and attention to detail we take with our handmade ceramics. The firing process can sometimes produce unexpected results therefore we cannot guarantee an exact outcome for the final item after firing.
Part of making ceramics is embracing the varying results firing can bring including mishaps and firing faults. By booking a workshop you are agreeing to the possibility that results from this workshop may vary.
