Escape the daily grind and immerse yourself into the creative world of ceramics in this intimate and fun decorating workshop with ceramicist and designer Kim Wallace.

Suitable for all skill levels
Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced artist, illustrator or creative wanting to try a new art medium, this workshop is designed for you to have fun and create your very own heirloom Christmas ornaments for yourself and loved ones to enjoy for years to come.

In this workshop you will be provided with a choice of several handmade porcelain ornament shapes (made by the KWC team) as a blank canvas to decorate up to 5 of your own pieces. Add your own names, messages, patterns or designs under the guidance of Kim.

We will have all tools, inspiration and guidance ready for you, or bring along your own designs and sketches.

The ornaments are bisque fired, meaning partially fired to give them strength, letting you focus on the fun of decorating and making them your own!

This workshop includes:

  • 5x Bisque fired porcelain ornaments of your choice
  • Your choice of a gorgeous selection of underglaze colours and pencils to use for decorating your pieces
  • Your finished pieces will be professionally finished with a gloss glaze and fired by the Kim Wallace Ceramics team to create beautiful heirloom ornaments
  • The finished pieces will be ready to collect from our Noosaville studios in 2~3 weeks from the date of your workshop. Shipping can be arranged for an additional charge.
Light refreshments will be provided.

IMPORTANT INFO

All pieces painted in our Workshops will be treated with the same care and attention to detail we take with our handmade ceramics. The firing process can sometimes produce unexpected results therefore we cannot guarantee an exact outcome for the final item after firing.

Part of making ceramics is embracing the varying results firing can bring including mishaps and firing faults. By booking a workshop you are agreeing to the possibility that results from this workshop may vary.
