SECONDS SALE ~ slightly warped during firing

Gorgeous handmade ceramic cup, made from slightly speckled, sand-coloured stoneware clay with a hand-carved pattern on the exterior of the cup. The handle is made from the same stoneware clay, and runs visibly from bottom to top of the inside of the cup, to the outside. Glazed with a white gloss glaze on the inside and outside top rim.

This elegant shape holds approx 9oz (265ml), a great cup for cappuccino or  tea. Please note that with handmade, there are no exact measurements. Each cup will vary slightly in size.

All our ceramics are fired to very high temperatures, making them very strong, durable and dishwasher safe. External unglazed surfaces are highly vitrified and water & stain resistant.

Description

All our ceramics are hand-made in our Sunshine Coast studio, Australia. Variations and irregularities may occur in size, shape, colour & glaze, making each piece unique and one-of-a-kind. Clay and glazes are made from naturally sourced materials which may vary slightly between batches.

inspiration
The ebb tide range is inspired by our move from the city to the gorgeous Sunshine Coast hinterland. Raw and organic, this collection draws on colours & patterns from nature and treasures found on our coastal fringes, left by the receding tide.

More pieces and colours will be added to the Ebb Tide Collection seasonally. Please sign up to our newsletter to stay up-to-date!

caring for your ceramics
All our ceramics are made using non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes. They are oven and dishwasher safe, however we do recommend taking care as they are handmade of limited quantity. Take care to avoid sudden temperature changes (for example from the oven to a cold benchtop) as this is likely to cause thermal shock which can result in the piece cracking.

To keep your pieces beautiful, minimise contact with staining foods or liquids on unglazed surfaces.
