SECONDS SALE ~ some uneven markings on base as shown in photo.

Gorgeous handmade ceramic espresso cup, made from white porcelain clay and hand-dipped in two layered glazes to create our stunning rockpool colourway. This little cutie roughly holds about 6oz, as with any handmade item variation will exist in size.

Each piece is created using a technique called slipcasting, where liquid clay is poured into a plaster mould, left to set for the desired thickness and the excess slip poured out. The inside of the mug is glazed with our non-toxic, food-safe clear glaze before being dipped in our rockpool glazes.

All our ceramics are fired to very high temperatures, making them very strong, durable and dishwasher safe. External unglazed surfaces are highly vitrified and water & stain resistant.

Description

All our ceramics are hand-made in our Sunshine Coast studio, Australia. Variations and irregularities may occur in size, shape, colour & glaze, making each piece unique and one-of-a-kind. Clay and glazes are made from naturally sourced materials which may vary slightly between batches.

inspiration
The ebb tide range is inspired by our move from the city to the gorgeous Sunshine Coast hinterland. Raw and organic, this collection draws on colours & patterns from nature and treasures found on our coastal fringes, left by the receding tide.

More pieces and colours will be added to the Ebb Tide Collection seasonally. Please sign up to our newsletter to stay up-to-date!

caring for your ceramics
All our ceramics are made using non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes. They are oven and dishwasher safe, however we do recommend taking care as they are handmade of limited quantity. Take care to avoid sudden temperature changes (for example from the oven to a cold benchtop) as this is likely to cause thermal shock which can result in the piece cracking.

To keep your pieces beautiful, minimise contact with staining foods or liquids on unglazed surfaces.
