Vintage Lace serving board with beautiful lace imprint. Each piece is entirely made by hand by pressing a vintage lace doily into the clay whilst wet, leaving the detailed imprint of the lace behind.

Perfect for serving cakes, sweets, cupcakes, or french cheeses & condiments. Pair with our white teabowls, small sauce dishes and handmade spoons for perfect serving sets.

Hand-brushed with a non-toxic, food-safe white gloss glaze, leaving the underside of the piece with a vitrified stone-like surface.

“I was originally inspired by a box full of beautifully crafted doilies that I discovered tucked away in a corner at St Vinnies – they had been given away due to some discolouration, yet had such lovely patterns. I started to think of ways I could reuse these little works of art and incorporate them into modern, decorative and functional pieces, revamping them to highlight the beauty of their intricate patterns and texture.”

caring for your ceramics

All our ceramics are hand-made in our Sunshine Coast studio, Australia. Variations and irregularities may occur in size, shape, colour & glaze, making each piece unique and one-of-a-kind.

All our ceramics are made using Australian, non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes. They are oven and dishwasher safe, however we do recommend taking care as they are handmade of limited quantity. Take care to avoid sudden temperature changes (for example from the oven to a cold benchtop) as this is likely to cause thermal shock which can result in the piece cracking.
