All our ceramics are handmade and colours, brush strokes and glaze variations may vary from the photos shown ~ this is not considered a fault but is part of the beauty of these glazes and the handcrafted ceramics process.
Our Hinterland cup evokes misty mornings and mountain hikes that end in a cosy cabin, hands warmed by a cup of your favourite brew.
Hinterland is hand glazed around the rim in rich coffee, sienna and mocha layers that melt into the neutral dappled sides of the creamy white glazed cup ~ handcrafted in Australian porcelain clay.
This cup measures approx. 8oz (approx 225ml), which resembles coffee house glass cups, perfect for mocha, latte and cappuccino.
Each piece is created using a technique called slipcasting, where liquid clay is poured into a plaster mould, left to set for the desired thickness and the excess slip poured out.

Care Instructions
All our ceramics are made using Australian, non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes.
All our ceramics are fired to very high temperatures, making them very strong and durable. All of our pieces ~ with the exception of gold lustre decorations ~ are dishwasher & oven safe. Take care to avoid sudden temperature changes (for example from the oven to a cold benchtop) as this is likely to cause thermal shock which can result in the piece cracking.
Gold lustre finishes are fired in the kiln for durability & food safety, however please note they are not dishwasher or ovenproof. DO NOT microwave lustre pieces as we use true gold!

Backorders
If this piece is not in stock you may place your item on backorder. This means we will make it to order especially for you in our Sunshine Coast studio. Our current turnaround time for backorders is approx 2~4 weeks plus shipping. This may be longer depending on the size of your order.
We have new stock coming out of the kilns twice weekly, so more pieces may be on the way already. You will receive an email notification once your order is packaged and ready to be shipped.
