All our ceramics are carefully crafted by hand in Noosa by our small, vibrant team of potters, glazers, designers and creative thinkers. We are all makers at heart and delight in producing beautiful pieces for both your home and our own.
Born and raised in the Netherlands, Kim has called Australia home for over twenty years. With a passion for art and design, Kim dabbled in ceramics, painting and drawing while she worked professionally as a graphic designer for nearly ten years.
After a while, she found herself longing to work and create with her hands ~ the antithesis of her computer based job. In 2008, she made the decision to swap her desk for an apron and has been happily elbow-deep in mud ever since.
Kim's eye for design and attention to detail coupled with her passion for high quality, handmade products has been the driving force behind the success of her studio and brand, Kim Wallace Ceramics.
Her ceramics are used and adored by some of Australia's most well known chefs and noteworthy restaurants including Aria Sydney, The Opera Bar, Ricky's Noosa, Sails Restaurant Noosa, Restaurant Dan Arnold, Momami, Cape Lodge Margaret River and many more. Her pieces are also regularly used and seen on popular television show MasterChef Australia.
All of our pieces are made in-house and by hand using clays sourced from our Australian landscape. We fire to the highest stoneware temperatures with food-safe glazes to ensure the most durable, functional products possible.
Our classic, contemporary design emanates understated luxury and style. From bowls and mugs to plates and serving ware, our pieces are destined to become family heirlooms ~ the perfect centrepiece for both daily meals and celebratory gatherings.

Kim Wallace Ceramics acknowledges the ongoing connection to country of the traditional custodians of this beautiful place in which we are honoured to create from, the Gubbi Gubbi people. We pay our respect to elders past, present and emerging.
Situated in the vibrant and eclectic industrial precinct of Noosa, the Kim Wallace Ceramics flagship store is a popular destination for locals and visitors alike. As you walk through the doors, you will be greeted with the calming scent of the locally made camphor laurel shelves that house the full KWC tableware & gifts collection.
We invite you to view, touch and hold the ceramic pieces in person ~ with the greenery of potted plants, soft music and warm lighting, we aim to provide both a relaxing and revitalising shopping experience.
The store also stocks a gorgeous array of homewares and gifts that have been carefully chosen to complement the KWC range ~ including luxurious soft linens, locally hand crafted jewellery, handmade soaps and custom dried flower arrangements.
You can also enjoy a glimpse of Kim and her team at work in the adjoining production studio.
