Jasmine Veronique

A collaboration between oil painter Jasmine Veronique and Noosa pottery studio Kim Wallace Ceramics.

Jasmine’s work has always been a quiet conversation with place — wildflowers of the Wallum, the Noosa and Cooloola country, painted slowly in layers. In this collection, that same language moves into clay.

Each stoneware piece is shaped by hand in our Noosa studio, with Jasmine’s native floral drawings pressed into the surface while the clay is still soft, so the design sits in the piece rather than on it. Jasmine then glazes every form herself, bringing the same considered, painterly touch she uses in her oils.

The result is neither painting nor ordinary tableware. It is something in between — vessels that hold a little of the wildness she loves, made to be used, lingered with, and kept close.
