Thank you for purchasing our ceramic wall decorations! These pieces are designed to bring joy to children’s rooms and nurseries, but safety is our top priority. Please read and follow these instructions carefully to ensure safe installation and use. Improper hanging can lead to falling objects, which may cause injury or damage.
Important Warnings:
- Weight Consideration: Our decorations are heavier than lightweight items and are not suitable for adhesive hooks (e.g., 3M Command hooks) or temporary mounting solutions. Using these may cause the piece to fall.
- Do Not Hang Over Sleeping Areas: To prevent any risk of falling, do not install directly above cots, beds, cribs, or any area where a child sleeps or plays underneath.
- Adult Supervision Required: Installation should be done by an adult. Keep children away during hanging.
Recommended Installation Steps:
- Choose a Safe Location: Select a wall area away from beds, cots, high-traffic zones, or places where children can reach or climb.
- Use Proper Hardware: Secure the decoration using screws drilled into wall studs or with heavy-duty wall anchors rated for at least twice the weight of the piece. We recommend consulting a professional if you’re unsure about your wall type (e.g., drywall, plaster, or brick).
- Tools Needed: You’ll need a drill, screwdriver, level, and stud finder for accurate placement.
- Test Security: After installation, gently tug on the decoration to ensure it’s firmly attached. Do not hang if it feels loose.
- Periodic Checks: Inspect the mounting every few months to confirm it’s still secure, especially in homes with vibrations (e.g., from doors slamming) or humidity changes.
These pieces are decorative only and not toys—keep out of reach of children to avoid breakage.
