FAQ
Will the cup get too hot to hold?
Ceramic cups take on the warmth of the liquid inside.
As a guide, if coffee is made at the correct temperature (approx 65 degrees), you’ll be able to hold your cup quite comfortably. If a drink it too hot to hold, it's too hot to drink.
Silicone heat sleeves are available to purchase separately here.
Please note that warmer drinks like tea may still be too hot to hold even when using a heat sleeve. We recommend leaving a little space at the top of the cup to hold it.
Some of the external surfaces are unglazed. Will they stain?
All our ceramics are fired to the highest stoneware temperatures, making them highly vitrified and stain resistant. Coffee and tea stains should come off easily when washed.
Some substances may stain, mainly oily liquids, so best to avoid contact with those.
The dishwasher does the best job at keeping your cups nice and clean!
