All our ceramics are handmade in our Noosa studio and variations in colour, glaze and size may occur ~ this is part of the beauty of the handcrafted ceramics process.

Silicone Lid Information

Our silicone lids are designed to fit snugly for a good seal. They can feel quite tight when brand new — this is normal and helps prevent leaks.

It may take a little practice to get the hang of putting them on (most customers find it easier after a few uses). With regular use the silicone naturally stretches a little and becomes more flexible.

Each cup is individually checked with its lid before shipping.

A generous all-rounder, excellent for larger coffees, iced drinks, tea and hot chocolate. Feels just like a big café mug.

Please note that being handmade, small variations will exist in sizing.

Care instructions

Our cups are dishwasher safe, with the only exception being pieces with gold lustre (such as Eclipse). For those, we recommend gentle hand washing to preserve the beautiful finish.

Our silicone lids and sleeves are made from high-quality, non-toxic 100% silicone. They are non-porous, antibacterial, and stain & odour resistant. They are also dishwasher safe on the top rack.

Tip for silicone sleeves: Remove the sleeve before washing. Once dry, flip the cup upside down and gently stretch the sleeve back over it, teasing it upwards until it sits comfortably.

Spare lids and sleeves are available in our shop if you ever need replacements.

Backorders

If this piece is not in stock you may place your item on backorder. This means we will make it to order especially for you in our Sunshine Coast studio. Our current turnaround time for backorders is 2~3 weeks plus shipping. This may be longer depending on the size of your order. 

We have new stock coming out of the kilns twice weekly, so more pieces may be on the way already. You will receive an email notification once your order is packaged and ready to be shipped.

1. Do the travel cups fit in car cup holders?

Our travel cups are designed to fit most standard car cup holders, but because car holders vary in size (some are quite narrow), we recommend checking the dimensions of your specific holder. We prioritised a shape that also fits under most coffee machines, which was important to us.

2. What sizes are available?

We offer three popular sizes for our travel cups:

3. Are the travel cups dishwasher safe?

Yes — we recommend the dishwasher for the best clean. The high heat helps keep them looking fresh over time. Silicone lids and sleeves are also dishwasher safe on the top rack.

The only exception is any pieces with gold lustre, which should be hand-washed.

4. Do the travel cups get hot to hold?

Yes, like all ceramic cups, they gently take on the warmth of the drink inside. There’s something nice about holding a warm cup — even on the go. If the drink is at a comfortable sipping temperature, the cup feels pleasantly warm. Silicone sleeves are available for extra comfort with very hot drinks.

5. Are they microwave safe?

Our standard stoneware travel cups can generally be used in the microwave. However, as with all handmade ceramics, we recommend using a moderate setting and checking the temperature of the drink before handling.

Important: Any cups with gold lustre are not microwave safe — sparks will fly! Always check for gold detailing before microwaving.

6. What are the travel cups made from?

Our travel cups are handcrafted in our Noosa studio from high-quality Australian stoneware and porcelain clays. They’re fired at high temperatures for strength and durability, then finished with our beautiful, food-safe glazes.

7. How do they compare to other travel cups?

Our travel cups feel more substantial and special than many alternatives. Customers love the handmade quality, beautiful glazes, and knowing they’re using something made locally in Australia instead of mass-produced imports.

8. What is your shipping and packaging like?

We put a lot of care into how we send your ceramics out into the world. Every piece is thoughtfully wrapped in recyclable kraft bubblewrap paper, nestled in biodegradable plant-starch packing peanuts, and packed into strong Australian-made cardboard boxes. We use eco-friendly materials throughout so the whole package can be recycled.

We have a very good track record with safe delivery. In the rare case that something arrives damaged, we’ll happily replace it.
